Evening Rascals

Well hello there,
This is D here, or Daisy as my birth certificate states- 1 of the 11 group extraordinaire and general lowerer of standards. Except when it comes to grammar, I try my hardest to not abuse the english laguage. Unlike some, I mean really... it only takes you half an extra second to turn 'u' into 'you' it's not like it costs you anything on the internet. The only exception would be if you had 7 seconds to live and wanted to say bye to everyone before you died suddenly. But that's another story and I'm currently rambling.
SO
I suggested we each attempt to do a post to introduce ourselves a bit. However, this could be seen as stupid. Because then we're giving details away. And we're only teenage girls. Oops, there's two bits of information right there.
So really, all you need to know is;
1) We're cool. Beyond awesome. BEAWESOME. As a certain person, and hamster, would say.
2) You should read this blog. Cause really, it'd be the most interesting waste of time you could have.

Now, what to talk about. Well, I touched on the subject of bad grammar so I may aswell continue.
Generally, I'm not too picky about grammar and spelling- my handwriting is terrible most of the time and being affronted with a mild case of dyslexia can sometimes affront my spelling- but at least I have a good vocabulary, and actually know the difference between two words. Because that is what gets me most worked up, and one particular example.
The fact is, the generation of text talkers are losing their ability to actually write correctly.
Notice there the word 'losing'- the adverb of lose.
Not loose.
Lose does NOT have two letter 'o''s.
You would not say 'I loosed my skirt' for one thing, why would you be loosening your skirt you dirty scoundrel and two you lost your skirt didn't you? And considering you wanted to say loosed I don't even want to know where you lost it. Disgrace.
I would love to continue, but I have sadly run out of time. I am unfortunately engaged to a date with some dishes and a dishcloth, joyous.
Good riddance,
D :)
xx
